Le groupe de Thrash/Power Metal MANTICORA a dévoilé l'artwork, réalisé par le peintre danois David Troest, de son huitième et nouvel album, ''To Kill To Live To Kill'', un double concept album basé sur le roman d'horreur écrit par le chanteur, Lars F. Larsen et qui sortira en mai 2018 alors que l'album est lui prévu pour le 3 août 2018 via ViciSolum Records. Les deux albums concept font en fait parti d'un très grand projet qui s'articule majoritairement autour du roman.
Le chanteur et auteur s'est exprimé sur le sujet : ''Nous avons toujours essayé de travailler avec de nouveaux artistes pour la pochette de chaque album, alors quand nous cherchions la personne parfaite pour rendre justice au roman et aux deux albums, nous voulions quelqu'un qui soit capable de saisir l'essence des histoires dans le livre. En regardant les photos du travail général de David, il est évident qu'il a exactement tout ce que nous recherchons. Il habite aussi à moins d'une heure de chez nous, donc c'était une situation gagnant-gagnant pour que tout le monde puisse se rencontrer et faire des corrections sur la couverture et toutes les autres photos qui apparaîtront dans le livret. Nous commençons déjà le travail pour le deuxième album, donc nous pouvons suivre le calendrier de sortie des albums à 12 mois d'intervalle.''

Thrash / Power Metal band MANTICORA has unveiled the artwork, made by the Danish painter David Troest, of its eighth and new album, ''To Kill To Live To Kill'', a double concept album based on the horror novel written by by the singer, Lars F. Larsen. The book will be released in May 2018 while the album is scheduled for August 3rd, 2018 via ViciSolum Records. The two concept albums are in fact part of a very large project that focuses mainly around the novel.
The singer and writer explains: ''We have always tried out new cover artwork artists for each album, so when looking for the perfect person to give justice to the novel and the two albums, we wanted someone who'd be able to grasp the essence of the stories within the book, and when looking at David's pictures in general, it's evident for even the feeble-minded that he's that exact guy. He also lives less than an hour away from us, so it was a win-win situation for everyone to be able to meet up and do corrections on the front cover and all the other pictures that'll appear in the booklet. We're already beginning the work for the second album as well, so we can follow the release schedule of having the albums out 12 months apart.''
