Ice Nine Kills fête les 40 ans de "Vendredi 13" avec une chanson spéciale Fête des Mères!

Le timing est parfait, il y a 40 ans ce week-end (9 mai 1980) la série débutait. Les rockers obsédés par l'horreur ont choisi le tube pop de Fountains of Wayne, "Stacy's Mom" pour leur parodie, "Jason's Mom", en dédiant la chanson au regretté Adam Schlesinger, auteur-compositeur de Fountains of Wayne, ainsi qu'à l'actrice Betsy Palmer, qui a joué le rôle de Pamela Voorhees. "Nous espérons que toutes les mamans ont une fête des mères qui tue vraiment", a déclaré le chanteur Spencer Charnas.
Ice Nine Kills a créé une vidéo socialement distante, mais plusieurs clins d'œil à la série "Vendredi 13" sont visibles. Le groupe a également interprété le morceau lors du streaming live de samedi (9 mai) de #FearlessAtHome.
