L'annonce tourne déjà sur internet depuis quelques jours : An Café arrêtera ses activités le 6 Janvier prochain, après les deux derniers concerts prévus pour leur quinzième anniversaire. Officiellement, les musiciens ont parlé d'une ''pause'' mais il s'agit bel et bien de la fin du projet tel qu'il a existé jusqu'à présent puisque tous les membres (Teruki à la batterie, Kanon à la basse, Takuya à la guitare, Yuuki au clavier) ont annoncé qu'il quittait le groupe, laissant donc le chanteur, Miku, seul. Ce dernier a déclaré vouloir continuer à chanter les morceaux du groupe à l'avenir mais rien n'a été annoncé.
Pour rappel, le groupe japonais, formé en 2003, avait 6 albums à son actif.
The news is already running on the internet for a few days: An Café will stop its activities on January 6th, after the last two concerts scheduled for their fifteenth anniversary. Officially, the musicians spoke of a "break" but it is indeed the end of the project as it has existed so far since all the members (Teruki on the drums, Kanon on the bass, Takuya on the guitar, Yuuki on the keyboard) announced that he was leaving the band, leaving the singer, Miku, alone. The frontman has said he wants to continue singing the band's songs in the future but nothing has been announced.
As a reminder, the Japanese band, formed in 2003, had released six albums.
