Schrodinger, avec Ju Bronson à la guitare, Adnane Tellou au chant, Guillaume Marill à la basse et Rémi Sérafino à la batterie, s’est produit le 29 octobre à la MJC Picaud à Cannes, dans le cadre de l’événement Make Some Noise #4, qui a accueilli Doppler, Dirty Cute, Grayssoker et The Guru Guru.Schrodinger a sorti un 1 EP : Santa Sierra en octobre 2019 et 2 singles : In a Cell et Bloody Mary, soit 8 titres que le groupe a joués lors de ce live avec en prime une reprise en version complètement démente de La Vida Loca de Ricky Martin. Nous avons donc eu le droit à l’intégralité des morceaux du band et ce n’est pas rien. En effet, nous surfons sur une véritable vague de perfection. Le show est extrêmement bien rodé. Les chansons s’enchaînent et offrent une restitution similaire à l’écoute de l’EP. Mais là, nous ne sommes pas dans notre canapé à savourer du Schrodinger, mais face à eux à s’en prendre plein les oreilles : des rythmes endiablés, des séquences musicales addictives, si époustouflantes de créativité et de fraicheur. La fusion entre bossa et metal progressif sur certaines de leurs compos était un pari risqué, mais aboutit à un résultat surprenant, comme avec l’incroyable Santa Sierra. L’intervention d’effets sonores apporte une touche de fantaisie. Leur registre musical est étendu et leur permet d’opérer une alchimie qui tient toutes ses promesses et ainsi de se distinguer par leur originalité. Slack est sans nul doute l’une des meilleures représentations de leur ingéniosité artistique et de leur savoir-faire. Leurs deux dernières créations : In a Cell et Bloody Mary offrent un son plus metal, mais toujours avec cette volonté de faire voler en éclats les clichés, en confirmant une expression musicale audacieuse.
La voix remarquable d’Adnane lui permet de surfer sur différents registres, allant du crooner de Supaman au growl musclé de Plastic Monkeys. Le set du band sera agrémenté d’un solo de Rémi, qui possède une technique à la batterie saisissante et brillante. Guillaume l’accompagne parfaitement dans ce tourbillon mélodique au sein duquel le duo rythmique vient ensemencer un groove de folie. Julien déploie avec maestria son jeu à la guitare, finement ciselé ou extrêmement heavy. Le quatuor est solide. Ce n’est pas un hasard si In A Cell s’est retrouvé sur le CD du magazine Hard Rock, de janvier 2021, aux côtés d'Architects et d'Alice Cooper.
Je vous conseille vivement de visionner leurs clips : Plastic Monkeys et In a Cell, qui sont de très belles créations tant au niveau du scénario d’inspiration tarantinesque que de la réalisation.

So we had the right to the entirety of the songs of the band and it is not nothing. Indeed, we surf on a real wave of perfection. The show is extremely well broken in. The songs follow one another and offer a similar restitution to the listening of the EP. But there, we are not in our sofa to savor Schrodinger, but in front of them to take it in our ears: wild rhythms, addictive musical sequences, so breathtaking of creativity and freshness. The fusion between bossa and progressive metal on some of their compositions was a risky bet, but leads to a surprising result, like with the incredible Santa Sierra. The intervention of sound effects brings a touch of fantasy. Their musical range is extended and allows them to operate an alchemy which holds all its promises and thus to distinguish themselves by their originality. Slack is without a doubt one of the best representations of their artistic ingenuity and know-how. Their last two creations: In a Cell and Bloody Mary offer a more metal sound, but always with this will to shatter the clichés, confirming a daring musical expression.
Adnane's remarkable voice allows him to surf on different registers, from the crooner of Supaman to the muscular growl of Plastic Monkeys. The band's set will be enhanced by a solo from Rémi, who has a striking and brilliant drumming technique. Guillaume accompanies him perfectly in this melodic whirlwind in which the rhythmic duo comes to sow a groove of madness. Julien deploys with mastery his guitar playing, finely chiseled or extremely heavy. The quartet is solid. It's not a coincidence that In A Cell was featured on the Hard Rock magazine's CD of January 2021, alongside Architects and Alice Cooper.
I strongly advise you to watch their videos: Plastic Monkeys and In a Cell which are very beautiful creations both in terms of the Tarantino inspired scenario and the realization.
